Lint Screens
Lint screens should be checked and cleaned regularly. A clogged lint screen can wreak havoc on your dryer.
Lint screens should be cleared before each load. Make sure you are opening the lint catch if applicable!
Inspect lint trap regularly for any debris or loose clothing articles.
Vacuum lint trap periodically.
Clean the lint screen every few months to prevent buildup by soaking/scrubbing with warm water and dish soap.
Venting/Duct System
Is your dryer still getting hot, but taking multiple cycles to dry? The most likely problem is a clogged or restricted vent or duct. Follow the steps below to make sure your dryer is operating at its best!
Inspect venting regularly for kinks, crushing, or holes.
Remove and clean vent hose every 6 months.
