Lubbock is a great place to start a small business! We love to support other local small businesses. We are active members of America's Small Business Development Center at Lubbock, and always recommend any entrepreneur begin their journey there!
Throughout the years, we have been approached by several entrepreneurs looking to start their own businesses. We love sharing our experiences and knowledge with new business people, but the best advice we can give anyone who is looking to startup or grow is to contact Lubbock's Small Business Development Center (SBDC).
America's SBDC at Lubbock is hosted by Texas Tech University, and funded in part by the United States Congress through a partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration, to provide no-cost business consulting and low-cost training to small business owners. They offer resources to help develop your business plan and identify sources of capital, as well as classes and workshops on everything from QuickBooks to tax filing.
